Dick Perez is a native of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, and is known for his many years as the official artist of the National Baseball Hall of Fame for 25 years. His book, “The Immortals: An Art Collection of Baseball’s Best,” shows a visual history of 292 members of the HOF. Perez has also been the official artist for the Philadelphia Phillies since 1982, and beginning then, also painted a yearly set of Diamond Kings baseball cards for Donruss. He currently paints for Topps, most notably the Turkey Red series cards.
