In “Diminished Capacity,” Matthew Broderick stars as a Chicago journalist grappling with memory loss who returns to his hometown to help his Alzheimer’s-afflicted uncle, Rollie. The duo pin their hopes on a rare 1908 Chicago Cub baseball card that could fetch enough money to improve Rollie’s living situation.
