Baseball Mogul is a series of career baseball management computer games first released in 1997. Baseball Mogul’s unparalleled realism made it the obvious choice as the underlying simulation engine for multiple versions of Microsoft Baseball and MLB Slugfest. A proprietary database, included with the game, permits play in any season of historical baseball from 1901 to the present. As General Manager, your job is to build the best lineup of players to take your team to the World Series. You can make trades and sign players to contracts, but you’ll have to compete with the other General Managers, and negotiate with the player’s agents. Spaceman Bill Lee is featured on the 2009 cover.
