“Slide, Babe, Slide” is a 10-minute short film capturing an unexpected encounter between Babe Ruth and skeptical kids. Off a train, Babe joins a baseball game, but the young players doubt him until a newspaper with his photo emerges.

Immediately, Babe becomes a pinch runner for a boy called home. He shares baseball insights, teaches sliding, and hits a homerun, astonishing a young pitcher. As the train whistle sounds, Babe departs, leaving a lasting impression on the young hearts.
