Cold Streak

Made by Strike Brewing Co., Cold Streak is a Cold IPA made in collaboration with Alpha Acid. The IPA has been dubbed the antithesis of hazy: dry, bubbly, and crisp. A base of pilsner malt and rice was fermented with lager yeast then dry hopped with heaps of Citra and Mosaic for some wonderful citrus and melon hop flavors.

While a cold streak is when a team is losing, the artwork on the beer label suggests it is named after The Freeze. In 2017, the Atlanta Braves began the “Beat the Freeze” race from foul pole to foul pole. One lucky fan is chosen to race across the outfield warning track against a man wearing a bodysuit and goggles. He wins almost every time!
