Be Hoppy IPA

Be Hoppy from Wormtown Brewery is the Worcester brewery’s flagship IPA, a West Coast-leaning brew loaded with citrus, grapefruit, pine, and resin. It delivers a firm, crisp bitterness balanced by just enough malt to keep it smooth, making it the defining beer most people associate with Wormtown and a staple of their year-round lineup.

While not originally brewed as a baseball tie-in, Be Hoppy has become part of Worcester’s ballpark identity through Wormtown’s partnership with the WooSox. Since becoming the team’s official hometown brewery in 2019, Wormtown has poured its beers at Polar Park’s Wormtown Summit, and the Be Hoppy label even nods to the game with their smiling sun icon swinging a baseball bat. It’s a local favorite that fits naturally into the WooSox experience.
