Yuengling Phillies Lager
Yuengling, America’s Oldest Brewery, amped up Philadelphia’s baseball scene in 2020 when it officially became the Lager of the Philadelphia Phillies. Established in 1829, Yuengling is the nation’s oldest operating brewery and one of its largest American-owned producers.
Its signature Traditional Lager, known for its rich amber color, roasted caramel malt, and balanced Cluster and Cascade hops, has long been a regional staple. Limited-edition Phillies cans featuring the retro “P” logo connected one of baseball’s most historic franchises with one of Pennsylvania’s most iconic beers.
The partnership also expanded Yuengling’s connection to Phillies ace Aaron Nola, the first active MLB player to align with a beer brand, later followed by Clayton Kershaw and Kyle Schwarber. It was a natural fit for a brewery and a ballclub that both carry deep Philadelphia roots.
ABV – 4.5%
IBU – 12
