Ron Santo 10 Ale

Made by Nine Band Brewing Co., Ron Santo 10 Ale is a kolsch baseball beer honoring Chicago Cubs legend, Ronald Edward Santo. The beer is a deep gold that is lightly hazy with a thin, white head. It has
flavors of lemongrass and a slight citrus hop. It is sweet for the style with a crisp finish.

Diagnosed with type 1 juvenile diabetes at the age of 18, Ron Santo defied the odds during his entire 15-year Hall of Fame career at third base. When his award laden time on the field came to a close, Santo moved into the radio booth and spent 21 seasons cheering on his beloved “Northsiders.” Santo was also a tireless fundraiser, and helped raise more than $60 million for type 1 diabetes research. For beer sold, a portion of the proceeds benefit the JDRF.
