Secret Sliding Door

Secret Sliding Door is Bakes Brewing’s annual spring Double IPA, loaded with Mosaic, Riwaka, and Citra and pouring a milky pale yellow that bursts with tropical fruit. It’s soft, hazy, and full of the punch this hop trio always brings.

The brewery will tell you the name comes from an actual hidden sliding door on-site, but the label art gives away the inside baseball. The graphic looks a whole lot like second base, the beer is a double IPA, and the word “sliding” in the name doesn’t exactly hide the double entendre. Whether it’s wordplay or coincidence, this one drinks like a clean slide into second with the throw sailing past the bag.

ABV – 8.2%
