Eephus is a poignant comedy by Carson Lund that follows two New England recreational league teams as they play one final game on their beloved small-town baseball field before it is demolished for an imminent construction project. In a small Massachusetts town in the 1990s, the Adler’s Paint baseball team, led by Ed Mortainian, faces the Riverdogs, led by Graham Morris, in a bittersweet showdown that stretches into extra innings. As daylight fades, the players share laughs, face tensions, and reflect on an era coming to an end.

Named for a rare and unconventional curveball, Eephus is an ode to sports, community, and the passage of time. Filmed on location at Soldiers Field in Douglas, Massachusetts, the film blends humor and nostalgia as it captures the emotions of a group of players navigating the fading camaraderie and escapism of their cherished field.
