Set against the backdrop of America’s favorite pastime, “Fast Company” introduces us to Elmer Kane, an egomaniacal baseball slugger who revels in his own prowess. His talent catches the eye of pro scout Bert Wade, who cleverly exploits Elmer’s infatuation with the beautiful actress, Evelyn Corey.
