The Scout is about a talent scout who is sent to Mexico as punishment, where he finds phenomenal young pitcher Steve Nebraska. Before he returns, the agent is fired, leaving Nebraska a free agent. Nebraska is signed for millions, and begins to exhibit psychological problems. Cameos from George Steinbrenner and Steve Garvey.
