Big Train Zero IBU IPA
Made by Left Field Brewery, Big Train Zero IBU IPA is a baseball beer with zero calculated bitterness. Big Train is a juicy, hazy IPA named after Walter “The Big Train” Johnson, a gentle giant of a pitcher who left many zeroes in his opponents’ box score – thus, a beer with an IBU of zero. Johnson still holds the MLB record with 110 shutouts. A large dose of Mosaic and Azacca hops were added post-boil to release loads of juicy guava, papaya and orange flavours. Generous amounts of oats and wheat in the grist combined with a massive dry hop make for a nice, stable haze.
ABV – 6.1%
IBU – 0
