Hanshin Koshien Stadium Museum
Discover the rich history of high school baseball, the Hanshin Tigers, and the iconic Hanshin Koshien Stadium at the Koshien History Museum in Nishinomiya, Japan. Built in 1924, Hanshin Koshien Stadium stands as a testament to Japan’s deep-rooted baseball tradition. Not only is it home to Japan’s second oldest professional baseball team, the Hanshin Tigers, but it also proudly hosts the national high school baseball tournament twice annually in spring and summer.
Legends like Shohei Otani, Hideki Matsui, and Daisuke Matsuzaka, who later showcased their talents in Major League Baseball, once graced the Koshien field during their high school days. Experience the passion, history, and legacy of Japanese baseball.
The Koshien History Museum exhibits are divided into two areas. The PLUS area first and the ballpark area.
