Walk Off Shot
Made by Rally Cap Brewing Co., Walk Off Shot is a double IPA hopped with Simcoe, BRU-1, HBC 630 and Citra hops. This combination brings forth a beer that is pretty complex, with a little bit of berry, some peach, pineapple, and even a touch of cherry. The finish is crisp with a hint of sweetness.
This beer was named for one of the greatest walkoffs in history. In the 1996 College World Series, Warren Morris came up to bat with the Tigers down 8-7 to the Miami Hurricanes with two out and one on in the bottom of the ninth. Having missed 39 games with a broken hand, Morris had not hit a homer all season until that at bat. He rose to the moment and hit one of the most dramatic walk off shots in the history of baseball, and now an equally impressive beer is in the lineup.

LSU trailed Miami by a run in the bottom of the ninth inning with the national title on the line. Then Warren Morris launched this dramatic walk-off home run to end the 1996 College World Series – his first homer of the season.
