The Outfield is a film about Peoria High baseball stars and best friends: Jack is playing baseball for State; Frankie is joining his father in the scrap yard; Austin is taking over his family’s batting cage. But during senior year, a new teacher recognizes Jack’s gift for art and Frankie falls for a girl from the right side of the tracks, and their futures are thrown in limbo.
